Terms & Registration
1. CALENDAR AND LOCATION:
The course will take place between July 25 and 31, 2024 at the Berga Municipal Music School.
July 25 (during the day): Arrival of the students and opening concert of the course (in the afternoon).
July 31 (during the morning): Closing concert.

2. TEACHERS:
The course teachers are:
Nacho Gascón, professor at the Escola Superior de Música de Catalunya (ESMUC).
The four members of Kebyart.
Pere Méndez, soprano saxophone.
Víctor Serra, alto saxophone.
Robert Seara, tenor saxophone.
Daniel Miguel, baritone saxophone.
Lars Niederstrasser, professor at Royal Conservatoire The Hague.
Antonio García Jorge, professor at Conservatorio Superior de Música "Massotti Littel" de Murcia.
Ivet Frontela, repertorist.
3. COURSE ACTIVITIES:
The course consists of:
Individual classes.
Chamber music classes.
Masterclass by the guest professor (Limited places. Preference for higher education students. All students may attend as listeners.)
Saxophone Ensemble.
Concert of students and teachers.
Exhibition and testing of saxophones and accessories from different brands.
Conferences and talks by teachers.
Free time activities & sports.
4. MODALIDADES:
Individual mode (from middle studies to higher education music students).
Saxophone quartet mode: for stable quartets. Check the characteristics of this modality.
5. SELECTION
Limited number of places. Applications will be accepted in order of receipt. Registration deadline: June 15, 2024.
6. PRICES
Individual student modality: the cost of the course is €350. (€250 of which will be paid as registration fees).
Quartet Modality: the cost of the course per student is €125 (€75 of which will be paid as registration fees).
Includes all course activities and lunch from Friday to Tuesday.
6.1. Accommodation
The organization of the course will provide students who request it in the form with accommodation at the Berga Hostel. Accommodation and full board (from the night of the 25th to the 31st, lunch included) will cost €200.
Other recommended accommodations - for adults or if you come with the whole family - are Hotel Berga Park or Hotel Estel. This accommodation will not be provided or managed by the course organization, and is subject to the availability of the hotels themselves.

In the case of minors, the attendance authorization signed by the parents or legal guardians of the student will be included in the registration form.
Registration will be confirmed via email by the organization. The remaining part of the course fee can be paid optionally at the time of registration or obligatorily the week before the course via bank transfer.
8. MATERIAL
Uniform black concert clothes, course scores, case with pencil, eraser and pen and a music stand. We recommend that everything be marked with the student's name.
