The Mestral Academy was born in 2019 with the initiative of Kebyart and Nacho Gascón. The lack of a saxophone course in Catalonia and our desire to share with the younger generations encouraged us to create a week to learn and enjoy music
The best experiences happen in summer, when time stops and there is no tension and obligations of the school year. Almost 40 young saxophonists have already passed through the Academy and more than half are repeating. Is it because of the concerts? Or because of the classes? Or because of the friendship that is formed during a week of such intense experiences?
